@suka_hiroaki It all happens locally on-device (an EMM can add policy) - and when work profile is turned off, apps installed in there are truly off, no background action possible. I set up work profile for my family to isolate intrusive/noisy social/school apps when not in active use.On twitter.com

@suka_hiroaki Under the hood, it acts like a separate Android users with different contact books, calender, etc. Work profile makes those isolated apps accessible through the same UI layer and adds some explicit sharing options across profiles.Permalink On twitter.com
