@suka_hiroaki It all happens locally on-device (an EMM can add policy) - and when work profile is turned off, apps installed in there are truly off, no background action possible. I set up work profile for my family to isolate intrusive/noisy social/school apps when not in active use.Permalink On twitter.com

@suka_hiroaki Under the hood, it acts like a separate Android users with different contact books, calender, etc. Work profile makes those isolated apps accessible through the same UI layer and adds some explicit sharing options across profiles.On twitter.com
