  1. 'The experiment is a failure: proof-of-work does not work and is not a valid solution to the "decentralization" problem.'       Other issues in current Bitcoin like transaction capacity/speed could potentially be improved, but proof-of-work is a complete misdesign and means that Bitcoin as it is right now was a valid experiment to learn from, but needs to be stopped and replaced with something better.
