    1. Just rooted my Sony Xperia Z3 compact (see forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/how-to-root-backup-drm-keys-t3013343 by @xdadevelopers for a howto). Finally getting Xposed+XPrivacy back.

    @xdadevelopers For the record, step 40 (installing pre-rooted system partition) doesn't work when data is encrypted. So I needed to wipe.

      With root (and DRM keys alive), Sony Xperia Z3 compact is now the best Android phone I've had so far. Still fits in one hand, good cam, IP68

        And I applaud Sony for their AOSP efforts. They have become very developer friendly in the last few years. I hope Sony mobile survives.
