Watch the thread. Having lived in the US for about 2 years, this is very painful to watch. While we had many friendly interactions with police at street fairs etc (as a white family with kid), the constant showing of armor and weapons made us feel unsafe every single time. @chadloder/1266952661791674370On twitter.com

@chadloder There are too many guns and far too much willingness to use them. Police are out of line here, and they need to be held accountable. I say this with regret for the many good police officers out there to protect people. But right now it's not working.Permalink On twitter.com
