Yes, we use Zoom right now at @jkulinz for live lectures, because on short notice it was the one alternative that could be set up at scale the quickest. However, with my security hat on, I very much dislike native client installation and would prefer browser based. 1/2 @Ouren/1241398181205889024

My personal setup is a separate laptop running Windows 10, the Zoom client (plus others, for other calls), and only those programs I need for the lecture or meeting. I realize not everyone has a spare (old) laptop for separation, so running it in a VM might be an option. 2/2

PS: If only I could get webcam passthrough to work with @virtualbox on a Linux host. That would make many of those calls easier.
