@ciphergoth @fanf Agreed. And my tongue-in-cheek comment was more referring to the fact the many different malloc implementations exist, trying to mitigate the many more memory safety C footguns. With Rust (at least I hope), the platform malloc should be sufficient. Twitter is bad for humor.
