      lite.ip2location.com/russian-federation-ip-address-ranges seems relevant for network admins. I personally use a GeoIP alias (Maxmind GeoLite2) with @opnsense to block traffic from RU until all hostilities cease.

    That's interesting. Legitimate access to my personal web page from RU (and most other countries, for that matter) has long been, erm, restrained (nearly zero, actually, but that's ok, I know there's not that much thrilling content). Since tweeting, I now get 2 DNS+HTTPS req/s.
