@mattblaze @ncweaver 3. Antivirus is designed to scan programs, not personal data. 4. Said programs intend to run on the very systems that AV intends to protect. Media data can be shared over any system. 5. AV usage is not generally driven by regionally different laws. That analogy doesn't help.
