      @e_id_easy The question is, who is a trusted party? A restaurant waiter shouldn't need to be. mDL discussions are going towards the personal smartphone of the holder to authenticate (e.g. fingerprint match with template stored in mDL). That way, no other party learns any unique identifier.

    @e_id_easy But connecting this with a vaccination statement issued by a third party (health provider), again providing unlinkability against eavesdroppers and colluding verifiers, is not trivial and needs to be standardized. That's not going to happen in 3 months, I fear.
