2 hours of debugging later, I still have no idea why an @OpenwrtH with smcroute (v2.4.4-1) running on 3 VLAN interfaces on a single trunk to a @mikrotik_com CRS326 tagged-only port work will only receive IGMP packets when 'multicast-router=permanent' is set for this port.
