@shawnwillden @agl__ @ciphergoth Completely agree that there is real risk in widely deployed, strong hardware attestation concerning free use of devices and owner control. My best answer is unlockable bootloaders (with owner signing keys): if enough self-built firmware is installed, apps need to consider it.
