@shawnwillden @matthew_d_green What Android backup does wrt. E2EE is the best state of the art compromise that I can think of. If we had a way to store encrypted data on the cloud and reliably retrieve key material for restore without secure HW on the back end, that would be better. I don't know how, though.On twitter.com
