1. I am very biased by my profession here, but there are rumors that software quality is (used to be?) questionable: reddit.com/r/EnoughMuskSpam/comments/99sbwa/former_tesla_programmers_anecdotes_about_problems/ If that is true, then the capability to live SSH into cars remotely to delete files after a failed firmware update is just a no-go.Permalink On twitter.com

2. I haven't tried this on a Model 3 anywhere, but at least the owner's manual (tesla.com/sites/default/files/model_3_owners_manual_north_america_en.pdf) doesn't tell me how to temporarily disable (cell) network connectivity. 3. The company does not seem to treat its employees all too well (businessinsider.com/tesla-workers-fired-pregnant-leave-2019-7). I have spoken to current and former Tesla employees here in the Silicon Valley area, and even the highly skilled engineers don't seem to be very happy there.Permalink On twitter.com
