Been saying for years that associating an individual's identity with a single phone number is bad for security (my main disagreement with @moxie to this day), for many reasons - easy linkability of meta data being a prime one. E.g. WebAuthn gets per site pseudonyms right. @jeremyburge/1101402001907372032
